The European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities, Belgium hosted the first international meeting of the project Games for Improving Affectivity in Youngsters with Intellectual Disabilities, funded by Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ program. The meeting was held on 06 of December in Brussels. The partners met and started work on the project activities, which are aimed at developing high-quality materials for youth workers who want to engage young people with intellectual disabilities in sexual and affective education and health. The goal is to create content that can be adapted to different environments and contexts, as well as the capabilities of youth with intellectual disabilities.
The project partners from Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, Greece, Belgium and Turkey planned the first activities to develop a methodology with criteria, standards for conducting research by all partners on topics related to sexual education.
