On December 5th, 2023, the National Association of Resource Teachers (NARU) participated in the Valorization Conference “Active Citizenship in Europe,” organized by the Human Resource Development Center.

Guests at the conference were the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Acad. Nikolay Denkov, the Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Dr. Galin Tsokov, the Head of the Sofia City Regional Education Department (RED), Dr. Vanya Kastreva, and others.

NARU presented the results of its project “SELsMINE – Improving Social-Emotional Learning Skills for Students Aged 6-13 through Minecraft” through a workshop. We showcased the already developed scenarios for building skills in the specialized “Education” module of the game “Minecraft.” Minister Tsokov showed interest in the game and suggested discussion for inclusion of the module within the Ministry of Education and Science “Digital Backpack.”
