The second meeting of the partners in the SENPower project 2022-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000085065 took place in Antalya, Turkey, on February 24th, 2023. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. The partners in the project are developing a methodology and specific models to support students with special educational needs (SEN), by adapting educational materials for mathematics and natural sciences to meet the needs of students with corresponding difficulties in the primary school level.

As a result of the project, the following will be developed:

•             SENPower Methodology, which will help teachers to adapt the teaching and learning process in mathematics and natural sciences classes in primary education to the needs of students with specific learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and general learning difficulties.

•             Teacher Toolkits “Mathematics for All” (M4ALL) and “Natural Sciences for All” (NS4ALL) – a set of tools for teachers, including ready-to-use educational resources on specific topics.

Upcoming joint international training seminars for teachers will allow them to create their own teaching materials on specific topics from the primary school curriculum for mathematics and natural sciences. The resources will be tested and analyzed, and final modifications will be suggested to ensure they fully comply with the SENPower methodology.

The project coordinator is Prosvehta Foundation, and the partners are:

•             Agrupamento de Escolas Cidade do Entroncamento – Escola Secundária com 3º Ciclo do Entroncamento, Portugal
