From July 14 to 20, members of the National Association of Resource Teachers from Sofia, Stara Zagora, and Burgas took part in an international training under the Erasmus+ programme 🌱 titled:
“Education for a Sustainable Future”, held in Oslo, Norway.

📍 Day 1 – Team Introductions and European Education Systems

The first day of the training began with introductions of the team, participants, and sending organizations.
Discussions centered around the diversity of educational systems in Europe, and participants explored climate science data by analyzing the most recent IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) reports.

🌍 Day 2 – Scientific Discussions on Climate Change

The second day was fully dedicated to in-depth discussions and analysis of scientific data related to climate change.

📖 Participants examined key findings from the IPCC reports and worked in teams to analyze the impact of human activity on the environment.

💬 During the discussion, some participants expressed concern and pessimism due to delayed global responses and lack of strong international commitment.
At the same time, others shared hope and optimism, believing that education and local, individual action can bring about real and meaningful change.

This Erasmus+ training emphasized the essential role of education in promoting sustainability, empowering teachers to act as drivers of change within their schools and communities.
