International Youth Exchange “Transition to Independent Life” – Day 2:
Today, the participants immersed themselves in two key topics related to the transition to independent life: time management and building a social network.
Building Time Management Skills:
The main focus was on prioritizing time, work tasks, interests, and free time. The participants discussed how effective planning improves productivity and reduces stress. In the practical exercises, they learned how a well-structured schedule can prevent last-minute stress and create a sense of control over time.
Building a Social Network & Assertive Behavior:
The second part of the day was dedicated to building social connections. The young people explored strategies for creating and maintaining a network of contacts, which is essential for both career and personal development. They practiced how to express their opinions confidently yet respectfully, which is a key skill both in work and social environments. The day concluded with inspiring discussions and practical tasks that will help the participants apply what they’ve learned in real life. More exciting moments to come tomorrow!
The participants visited the Regional Center for the Inclusive Education Process Support – Sofia City, where the role and activities of the center in supporting inclusive education were presented.
