The project “Building an Inclusive Society through Support of Early Childhood Education and Care for the Development of Social-Emotional Competencies of Preschool Children” (BE-CHILD) 2019-1-IS01-KA201-051137 involves partners from Iceland, Italy, Bulgaria (National Association of Resource Teachers – NARU), Czechia, Estonia, and Romania. The lead partner is the University of Reykjavik, Iceland.

During an online meeting on June 3, 2021, the partners discussed the results of developing the project’s first intellectual output – identifying and presenting good practices in teaching social-emotional competencies from early childhood, based on interviews conducted with kindergarten and preparatory school group teachers. The NARU team prepared the Bulgarian part of the report, which will be published on http://www.narubg.org.

The next transnational meeting is scheduled for the end of August 2021, where preparation of the second intellectual output will begin – creating a methodology for developing a TOOLBOX to assist teachers.
