Following a selection procedure, the schools chosen to participate in the “Knowledge for Human Rights” project, led by the organization Znanie (Knowledge), Lovech, in partnership with the National Association of Resource Teachers (NARU), are:
– 140th Secondary School “Ivan Bogorov,” Sofia
– Secondary School “Krum Popov,” Levski
– Svishtov Vocational High School “Aleko Konstantinov,” Svishtov
– Secondary School “Vicho Gruncharov,” Gorna Oryahovitsa
– Secondary School “Yordan Yovkov,” Kardzhali
– Secondary School “Vasil Levski,” Roman
– Vocational High School of Tourism “Aleko Konstantinov,” Pleven
– Vocational High School “Knyaginya Evdokia,” Sofia
– Secondary School “Konstantin Petkanov,” Burgas
– Secondary School “Hristo Botev,” Kubrat
Representatives of these schools will have the opportunity to participate in a series of trainings and activities related to human rights throughout 2021–2022.
The “Knowledge for Human Rights” project is implemented with financial support provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the EEA and Norwegian Financial Mechanisms in Bulgaria.
The main goal of the project is to achieve positive change in response to trends of human rights violations, intolerance, discrimination, and the use of hate speech among young people and students.
