The training “Integrating Artificial Intelligence with Critical Thinking in the Classroom” was successfully completed in Dublin last week. The program covered specific methods and strategies for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the classroom, with a focus on the importance of critical thinking and the ethical use of technology.

One of the opportunities provided by the training was the practical component. Participants had the chance to work with various AI tools that can be used in the classroom, such as adaptive platforms, virtual assistants, and data analysis tools. Although the program was intensive, there was plenty of time for interaction among the participants. Discussing case studies and exchanging ideas with colleagues from different countries proved to be extremely valuable.

The issues discussed were not only related to the technical aspects of AI, but also the ethical questions, such as how to prepare students for a future where AI will play a major role, and how to help them become critical and conscious users of technology. An important aspect of the training was the integration of technology into education and its significance for the development of skills to evaluate and analyze information, as well as how to teach students to recognize potential risks and challenges.
