The National Association of Resource Teachers (NARU), a long-standing member of the National Network for Children (NNC), took part in the Network’s 2026 Annual Meeting, held in Sofia from 24 to 27 June. The event brought together member organizations, experts, young people, and partners from across the country.

This year’s meeting also marked the 20th anniversary of the National Network for Children, celebrating two decades of advocacy, partnership, and sustained efforts to promote and protect children’s rights.

Throughout the event, participants engaged in discussions, working groups, training sessions, and thematic panels focusing on key topics, including education, healthcare, justice, family support, mental health, and digital safety.

The Annual Meeting also featured a special celebration dedicated to the Network’s 20th anniversary—an opportunity to recognize and thank everyone who has contributed to its journey and who continues to work with commitment towards a better future for every child.
